I am seeking a second co-admin. DeviantArt Admin has angered me to the point that I am considering leaving the site; I abhor "blanket policies", and one of dA Admin's BPs is being used as an excuse to deny ALL Sound Recordings from sale as being "Possible Copyright Violations", through the Rubric of relieving them of the need to listen to see if a particular recording is Music or Spoken Word. I just got a Violation Notice on my very first attempt to post Premium Content, which I will post here.

When I went to the Ticket I posted to the Help Desk, I found this.

I am sorry but we unfortunately are not able to sell songs through the premium content system, as the music companies are still quite rabid about controlling their content. I am not accusing you of pulling parts of songs into your piece, but it currently is better for dA to not have them taking up a lot of our time weeding out their possible content. Our lawyer a while back gave me a more verbose answer about why we couldn't, but it boiled down mainly to "lawsuits are bad."

I was so ANGRY that I could not spell correctly! And this type of disregard for type of sound is NOT just caution...it is sheer LAZINESS. So if my eventual decision is to leave DeviantArt, let's just say it is a part of my being tired of the WWW's "Corporate Policies Which Shall Not Be Discussed" stance.

Good morning, members!

This time I have not made the admin mistake I did with
Mandelbulbers; submissions are set on auto-accept,
also joins for the moment.

I missed a package delivery this AM and either
me or my partner will have to pick it up from the P.O.
I tried to tell him my eBay vendor was most likely
shipping it Special D next day, but he didn't believe me;
when the postman knocked, we were both sound asleep.

So...I will be in and out of the house today; so much
sun, it seems a shame to stay indoors!
